Not much to report today. We tackled a project that has been on my list for a while. The sofa in our RV was uncomfortable for Doreen as it was too far off the ground, so when she sat there here feet dangled. I removed the sofa legs dropping it about three inches and making it much better. There was a trip to Home Depot involved since I needed to add four rubber feet.
Also the sofa folds out into a bed and the outer legs needed adjusted to flatten the bed out better, so we got that done. I think we will still add a blow-up mattress to make it more comfortable.
While we were out we needed to fill with diesel after our trip up here from Wichita yesterday. We use an app called "Gas Buddy" and based on your location it gives fuel prices and all the stations in the area. The going rate for diesel around here right now is around $5.399 but with the help of Gas Buddy we found diesel for $5.149 in our route back to the RV Park.
We caught part of our grandson Calvin's baseball game using the Game Changer Team Manager app and we cast that to our 50" TV in the coach so it is easy to watch. Technology really helps us stay in touch with everyone as we travel for five or six months at a time.
It finally cooled down a bit today with a high of 79F. It has been so beastly hot for quite a few weeks, so this is very welcome. We grilled some chicken and burgers along with some slabs of cabbage with Parmesan cheese and they were really good. After dinner I scrubbed the bugs off the front cap again after our trip up here yesterday. It's an arrival thing!!
Tomorrow we will visit the Truman Museum and Library! One week from tomorrow we will be home for a week!
