23 May
Short and sweet tonight. It's been a very long day. I signed up for a full day class in the Lippert Technical Institute and it was outstanding. We received factory technical training on various Lippert systems on our RV's. The classes I attended were on our automatic leveling system, our through-the-frame hydraulic slide-out system and our Solera awning system. We were the first one day owner's class offered by Lippert. We received breakfast followed by an introduction and Q&A session followed by the leveler class all morning. They served us lunch and then two classes in the afternoon. The hands-on portion was great. They had fully functional mock-ups for us to use, troubleshoot, etc A few pictures:
Classes started with a classroom session
One of many operational mock-ups
Leveling system control module
Various awning systems
Hydraulic ram slide-out mechanism demonstrator
The support call-in center is here also and I got a tour of that operation
And we even got a diploma!
Maintenance continued today and the service teams were busy helping the owners with about anything you can think of. This company is unbelievable! Their customer service is over the top!
While I was in class all day, Doreen volunteered to help build the welcome bags for the Rally attendees and various other set-up tasks.
I serve as one of the "admins" on the Alliance RV Facebook Group and we will be hosting an owners welcome table. We will greet the Alliance owners and welcome them with a mug and a cup of java.
Also set up today were the bags tournament boards.
More and more Alliance RV's rolled in today while I was at class.
The weighing area continued their work.
Tomorrow we will staff the welcome area, attendees will receive their welcome bags, and Rally check-in will be done in preparation for the Rally kick-off on Wednesday and run through Friday.
